AUS telecommunications firm was interested in acquiring several smaller telecom companies in South America; however, they were unsure of which ones to target. Intelex first conducted the research necessary to understand the regulations pertaining to foreign ownership of telecommunications companies in various South American countries.

Intelex then performed a Strategic Acquisition Search to develop a short list of acquisition candidates for our client.

Due to the regulatory environment, the client formed a joint venture with an existing Argentine firm and then used that company to make several acquisitions identified by Intelex.
